Medicare Counseling and Enrollment

Counselors are available in multiple Elkhart and Goshen locations to provide guidance to those enrolling in or navigating through Medicare enrollment.  

Medicare Plans

Our professionally trained volunteer counselors will guide you through all your Medicare (including Parts A, B, C and D as well as Medicare Supplement) questions during enrollment and beyond. They are available to help with:

• How and when to enroll in Medicare

• Medicare Coverage and options for health coverage related to Medicare

• Medicare Coordination with other types of health coverage

• Assistance in applying for subsidy programs

Open enrollment for Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Prescription Drugs (Part C) begins in mid-October and ends in early December on an annual basis. Schedule your appointment with COA to review plan options.

Medical Savings Program (MSP)

If you or someone you know is on Medicare and has a monthly income in 2022 between $1,720 - $2,116 (or $2,309 - $2,843 if married) you may qualify for assistance.

MSP pays for the part B premium of $170 (for most people). At its highest level of qualification, it also pays most of your medical deductibles and co-pays Yes, you may be eligible to keep that $170 each month that is being withheld from your social security!
